There is nothing like that first day when you know spring is here. The sun hits your face and you just feel that warmth and it instantly makes you happy. I, for one, have major spring fever. One of my favorite things about spring is blooming flowers. Since I am having major spring fever, I thought it would be fun to do a spring flower craft for kids with a twist.
For This Activity You’ll Need:
- Paper
- Cork
- Paint
- Green Craft Stick
- Glue Stick
Flower Craft for Kids
Step 1. First use your glue stick to glue the craft sticks to the paper. These serve as the stems of the flowers. We did 3 but you can do as many as you like.
Step 2. Next you take your cork and dip it in yellow paint for the center of the flower (fun fact- that is called the ‘pistil’).
Step 3. Next dip your cork in a different color for your flower petals.
Step 4. Dip your finger in green paint to make the stem leaves
And there you have it! I think it turned out lovely!
